Corps withdrawing from the Florida Joint Application process

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Jacksonville District announced that, in an effort to increase its efficiency and service to the public, it is withdrawing from the Florida Joint Application process, effective Oct. 1.

Beginning Oct.1, applicants must submit applications directly to the corps for proposed projects. However, the corps will accept any application packets submitted directly to the agency prior to Oct. 1.

The Jacksonville District administers the largest regulatory permitting program in the corps, which provides protection for waters of the U.S.including federal delineated wetlands and navigable waters.
