New director of operations at OUA

Lisa Dawn was named as director of operations at the Okeechobee Utility Authority, succeeding Roy Reno. Rero will retire in late June 25after 36 years with the utility.

Dawn was born at Eglin Air Force Base in Fort Walton Beach and graduated from Brandon High School near Tampa. She attended St. Leo University, receiving a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

She will oversee the wastewater treatment and drinking water plants, as well as maintenance and operations at the utility.
